CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear Colleagues,

Business Excellence and Management journal is pleased to announce the launch of a Special Issue entitled Damage and Hope while Living with COVID-19: Back to the Roots of Management to Achieve Business Excellence.

For more than one year we have struggled, we have fought against COVID-19 and sometimes, we won. However, the “pandemic war” is not over yet. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it seems that there is still a long way until we achieve that light.

What started as a novelty and curiosity, now became a reality. We understood that the entire world has to adapt to a new era. Every economy and every business sector has to operate within the limits imposed by the pandemic.

The world has changed, and implicitly, the global economy has changed. Some managers have revised their business, others closed their companies, while others have taken advantage to open new enterprises.

Even if the entire business sector has been challenged, so far it has triumphed. New companies have risen and the existing ones have readjusted their work where needed.

We have discovered a new era - the digitalization era - and realised that now, more than ever, the business sector should redirect its actions towards information technology.

So, we offer you a moment of reflection, a moment of returning to the roots of management by continuing the „Damage and Hope” series started last year, as the aim of this Special Issue is to present how different economic sectors and companies coped with the effects of the pandemic and how they strive to conquer the new digital era. Moreover, it will illustrate the economic future that COVID-19 shaped.

Thus, the research topics of this Special Issue may include subjects on (but are not limited to): the post covid state of the companies, digital transformations, the level of the economic fallout across the countries, data analysis and data predictions, company performances, the level of sustainability across industries, risk management, new management in times of crisis, different management in a different world, transforming management and business excellence, the future of business excellence, the impact of the pandemic on the economy, markets, finances, industries, people psychology, education, universities, social development, companies, governments etc.

We consider this subject of great interest as well as the research on this topic being very important. Thus, we strongly encourage researchers, professors, students, engineers, academics, and industry professionals from all over the world to present their current observations and analysis by submitting their research in our special issue. Qualitative and quantitative research, reviews, syntheses, and all other original research are welcomed.

Papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published on a continuous basis (as soon as accepted) and listed together on the special issue page of the journal. Authors have the option to plan their papers by sending a title and short abstract (about 150 words) to the Editorial Team for announcement on the journal's website. Papers can be submitted to the following email address: beman.journal@gmail.com

Deadline for submission - 30 September 2021. Manuscripts can be submitted until this deadline.

Our journal has no APC or publication fee.
